Acceptable and requested items include:
Baby Wipes, Razors, soap, toothbrush/paste, Shampoo/conditioner, chap stick, sunblock, bug spray, Tylenol, Motrin, Advil or Aspirin Packets, vitamins, pouches of tuna/chicken/salmon, power bars, granola bars, ramen noodles(in styrofoam cup), soup in flip top can, breakfast bars, hard candy(no chocolate), beef jerky, powder drink mixes,protein powder/bars, oatmeal, easy mac, magazines, books, crosswords, travel size board games, tennis balls, wiffle balls, frisbees, etc. Homemade cards or letters of encouragement!

Registration for Boston Hope Line is Now Open

Tuesday, February 16th is the first day to register with the Hopeline to work for the Boston Youth Fund during the summer of 2010! All applicants must be residents of Boston and be between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. You must turn 15 on or before July 5, 2010 and cannot turn 18 on or before August 13, 2010.
Call 617-635-HOPE (4673) on Feb 16, 17, 18 & 19 from 10am-2pm.
Or, you can register online 24 hours a day from Feb 16 at 10am until Mar 15 at 11:59pm. http://www.bostonyouthzone.com/teenzone/employment/byf/

BOSTONavigator is the place to find the most current information about Boston’s rich out-of-school time opportunities. Created through a collaboration of the City of Boston, BOSTnet, and Boston After School & Beyond, BOSTONavigator is a valuable online resource for children and youth, parents, guardians, and other caring adults to find youth programming in their neighborhoods.
You can find programs that run after school, before school, on weekends, during the summer, and during school vacations.
The programs listed in BOSTONavigator are all located within the City of Boston (or provide transportation from Boston) and provide supervision for children between the ages of 5 and 18.

ABCD Summer Jobs – Applications Feb 17th

ABCD Summerworks will be taking applications beginning Feb 17 through the rest of the school year at their neighborhood ABCD offices. Mark your calendar and do not forget to register with the Hopeline to work through the Boston Youth Fund during the summer of 2009!
