Parkway Lacrosse U-13 & U-11 Lacrosse Teams Win the Play Ball City – Battle at Bunker Hill

Sunday at Charlestown High School, the 1st Play Ball City Classic-Battle at Bunker Hill was held. Boys & Girls teams from all the of areas of the city participated in an all day tournament. The Tournament was organized by Charlestown Youth Lacrosse and the Boston Centers for Youth and fitness. The tournament was sponsored by the PlayBall Foundation and the City of Boston.
Parkway boys Lacrosse teams participated. It was hot & humid as temperatures were above 100 degrees for most of the day!. Parkway U-9 Lacrosse started the day off early with a split of the games with Dorchester. The U-9 Championship was a battle that Dorchester won 3-2 despite a last second game tying shot that missed by inches!
Parkway U-11 team played next and defeated Dorchester and Charlestown to win the U-11 Championship! The Parkway U-13 defeated Dorchester then played the MetroLax team and was victorious to win the U-13 Championship. The U-15 team beat Metro Lax to complete an impressive performance by all Parkway Lacrosse Players.
