Arthur’s Soul Adventure by West Roxbury’s Brian Chambers, “The Unlikely Author”
February 26, 2010
Imagine a dream of your dead father as a young boy, standing on the railroad tracks, telling you his story of a near-death experience when he died on the tracks one day. He tells you of his brief visit to heaven and how he was given an important message to bring back – but he never shared it with anyone during his lifetime! What would you do? This dream actually happened to Brian Chambers, and the entrusted message his father gave him in the dream became the inspiration for Arthur’s Soul Adventure (O-Books). When Chambers saw young Arthur holding out a dark-covered book to him in the dream, he knew he was looking at the book he had to write! Read more

ParkwayBoston’s own Ed Coppinger will be announcing within the next week that he will be a candidate for State Representative. Coppinger will be joining 3 others who have already announced their candidacy.
Ed Coppinger will take a leave of absence from ParkwayBoston. We will give him the opportunity to publish his press release here as the others have done so already. After that, ParkwayBoston will not discuss the Rep Race at all so there will not be an appearance of candidate preference.
Clarification: The editors of ParkwayBoston will not be discussing (editorializing) the local 10th Suffolk District State Representative race, however we will be reporting on the events of the election as it progresses. Remember to come to ParkwayBoston for all of your local news
With that we wish all the candidates well and look forward to having Ed back with us after the elections.

Auntie B’s now The Rox Diner, Grand Opening Feb 27th
February 20, 2010
From West Roxbury Main Streets:
The owners of Auntie B’s are excited to announce their new name: The Rox Diner. Join WRMS on the 27th of February for our Grand Opening Celebration. All are invited to see the remodeled and improved Rox Diner – and get a cup coffee on the house!
We would like to thank Barbara Rohlfing for establishing our location, for all of her guidance over the past two years, and her hard work building Auntie B’s as a household name in the community. The new name comes from the middle three letters of West Roxbury, or the “heart” of West Roxbury. This community has been wonderful in the support they’ve shown our restaurant and we hope The Rox Diner lives up to its inspiration as the heart of West Roxbury.
Rox Diner is located at 1881 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA. For more information on our Grand Opening call Rox Diner at 617-327-1909.
We hope to see you on the 27th!
