City of Boston Reverses Decision – Picked Up Monday’s Trash Today

My phone started ringing at 8 o’clock this morning from family and neighbors saying that the garbage trucks were in the neighborhood. Our regular pick-up day is Monday but due to the weather the City cancelled pick-up this week. Our next pick-up was pushed back one week, not one day as they do with holidays.
A friend called Mayor Menino’s hotline and the person that answered said they decided to change their decision because of the number of phone calls they received.
The City made the right call here reversing their decision, so Thank You!
