Busy Weekend for Police and Fire Departments in Roslindale

Boston Police responded to a report of a shooting Friday evening at approximately 5:10 at 3997 Washington Street at Archdale Road.
The victim was shot in the head (grazed) with non – life threatening wounds and transported to the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Boston Police District E- 5 Responded with Boston EMS and Cataldo EMS
We have not received any additional information.

On Sunday morning, the Boston Fire Department received a call to 60 Seymour Street. As you can see from the photos, the fire appeared to start in the rear of the house. It quickly spread to a nearby building located at 149 Rowe Street.
The blaze quickly turned into a 3 alarm fire. The Boston Fire Department has reported that the fire was caused by an un-attended candle.
