Parkway Holiday House Tour

On December 7th from 1pm to 5pm the Parkway Holiday House Tour will take place. The houses on the tour remain a secret until the day of the tour. Over the last few years West Roxbury Main Streets guided by the Bernadine’s began hosting this event. The proceeds from this event go to help West Roxbury Main Streets and the enhancement of Centre Street.
This year the tour will begin at St. Theresa’s Monsignor Donahue Hall at 1:00pm, where you will be able to partake of some tasty treats and do some Christmas shopping. There will be local artisans on hand displaying their talents and offering wonderful one of a kind items for your purchase.
At 2:00 pm the trolleys will begin boarding and heading to their secret destinations. Expect to find a local celebrity host on board each trolley to guide you on a whirlwind tour of some of West Roxbury’s interesting and seasonably decorated homes. If you can’t catch a trolley and already have a button, feel free to wander at your own pace.
Buttons for the event will be on sale in various West Roxbury locations, including the Real Deal and Kalembar Dune. Buttons purchased in advance are $20.00. You can also purchase buttons at Msgr. Donahue Hall on the day of the event for $25.00. I hope it isn’t a secret to the owners…although that may draw a little more interest.
2 PM on a Sunday? I may be up by then. Actually make it 3 PM and I’ll have a pitcher of Yuletide Bloody Mary’s ready for the group.
