City Councilor Rob Consalvo Announces the Launch of His New Website
January 27, 2009
Boston City Councilor Rob Consalvo has launched www.robconsalvo.com to compliment his Facebook and MySpace pages and to augment his web presence. The new website will offer his constituency another forum to learn about the issues he is working on every day and the ability to communicate with Councilor Consalvo about issues important to them and their community.
The new website features a photo gallery, a community calendar and individualized District 5 neighborhood pages where residents can learn about current events and connect to links from a variety of complimentary and resourceful web sites. Gradually the site will add streaming video and additional interactive features.
“I am excited to have a new web site to share with my constituents and all the citizens of Boston,” said Councilor Consalvo. “This web site is yet another tool to make myself and my office more accessible to the people I represent,” he said.

Got something to say?

It’s a pleasant enough looking site. But when did the Pru and the Hancock get moved to Hyde Park? Compare the banner atop his home page with that on Maureen Feeney’s.
I would think having a huge gas tank behind the photo of a politician would invite all kids of comments. Yes, like this one.
My guess is Consalvo is trying to expand his base. That community calendar is a great idea.
Feeney’s colors and swoop design look like a Keyspan/National Grid site
